Mungo Homes is the builder in Merrill Villas. Mungo Homes will be building well over 100 single family homes in the Merrill Villas subdivision. As of September 2024, 123 single family homes have been sold in Merrill Villas. Pricing of these single family homes in Merrill Villas is from the low $300's to the mid $400's. The community is relatively private with two entrances - one off of Asiago Drive and the other off of Agostino Drive. There are a number of very private home sites off of Agostino Drive that are adjacent to woods/wetlands.

Michael J. Mungo started building homes in the Columbia, South Carolina area in 1954, and still today, the Mungo family is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new home building business. Many of their team members live and play in the communities where they build so you’re likely to bump into them at the grocery store, a football game, or the gym, and they take care of you just as well after the close as during the buying process. Mungo Homes is now a division of the Clayton Home Building Group and a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Merrill Villas offers both one and two story homes in Carolina Forest that range from a little over 1,400 square feet to over 3,000 square feet. Most plans include a designated home office, flex or bonus room, or extra bedroom perfect for homeschooling or when working from home.
